पश्चिम बंगाल के बीरभूम जिले के तारापीठ में सोमवार तड़के एक होटल में भीषण आग लग गई। हादसे में कम से कम 7 लोगों की मौत की खबर है, जबकि कई लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल बताए जा रहे हैं। होटल में ठहरे ज्यादातर लोग तारापीठ मंदिर के दर्शन के लिए पहुंचे तीर्थयात्री थे। शुरुआती जानकारी के मुताबिक आग होटल के रिसेप्शन के पास बिजली से जुड़ी खराबी के कारण लगी हो सकती है, हालांकि इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि जांच के बाद होगी। दमकल की टीमों ने मौके पर पहुंचकर आग पर काबू पाया और कई लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला।
A devastating fire broke out at a hotel in Tarapith, Birbhum, West Bengal, early Monday morning, killing at least seven people. Several others were critically injured in the blaze. Many of those staying at the hotel were pilgrims visiting the nearby Tarapith temple. Initial reports suggest that the fire may have started due to an electrical malfunction near the hotel reception, although the exact cause is still under investigation. Firefighters rushed to the scene, controlled the blaze and rescued several guests. Authorities are continuing rescue, relief and investigation efforts as officials assess the full extent of the tragedy.
